Post COVID procedures

We would like to assure residents that Spitalfields Housing Association is continuing to run all normal services, however we are putting provisions in place to provide essential services to our residents should the situation worsen.

We want to protect our staff and residents from the risk of infection, therefore we may ask for additional information when you contact us to arrange a repair or services that may require a home visit.

To help us support the Government’s advice, delay the spread of coronavirus and for the safety of our staff, contractors and others around, it is critical you let us know before any home visits are arranged if you are in self-isolation due to the virus.

We will continue to keep you updated via our SHA website.

Additionally we advise you to regularly visit the government website for a more regular update on the situation.

Future planning

It is unclear how the virus will spread and the impact it may have on us, we are constantly looking at ways to best provide the services. Although it is likely we will move to emergency only service over coming weeks as the government advises.

Don’t forget you can use our online service to report a repair, print statements, view payments as well as many other services.

Should you need further help logging onto your account please contact the HousingManagement@spitalfieldsha.co.uk

Beware of scamming

The BBC covered that there has been a reported spike in scams where people are;

  • pretending to be health officials,
  • offering food pick up services,
  • selling counterfeit hand sanitisers or fake masks.

Please read the article for more details and protecting yourself from fraudsters.
